How the BID works
What the BID does
Sheffield BID delivers projects that add value to the existing offer across all business sectors, supporting economic growth for a diverse range of sectors across retail, corporate, leisure and culture, education and public services. The BID’s investment focuses on achieving higher visitor numbers and a vibrant city centre; easier access and navigation; a safer day-time and night-time economy; a cleaner environment; and a powerful voice for the 500+ businesses that pay into the BID.
Note: the BID cannot be used to fund services that Sheffield City Council already operates.
