Join the BID Company’s Framework of Preferred Suppliers

Sheffield BID is inviting local businesses to join the BID Company’s framework of preferred suppliers.  The BID is seeking expressions of interest from the full range of services from builders, painters, industrial cleaners, caterers, IT, creative & digital through to business and professional services. The database of suppliers will create a procurement framework not only for Sheffield BID to use, but it will also be available to its 500+ Levy Payers and the other 1,500 businesses within the BID area.

BID Manager, Diane Jarvis said: “We want to be able to use the best that Sheffield has to offer at the most competitive rate. Sheffield is full of highly skilled professionals and we want to ensure the BID, as well as businesses in the city centre, both use and benefit from these skills.  We are encouraging businesses to apply to be on our preferred supplier list and from this we can also build a picture of the expertise we have collectively as a city.”

“Together” is one of the BID’s five core programmes and one of its objectives is to use the BID’s collective buying power to negotiate discounts on a wide range of business costs. It plans to deliver on this through its procurement framework.

Businesses can apply to join the BID’s database of preferred suppliers by downloading the pre-qualification questionnaire from the Sheffield BID website. www.sheffieldbid.com/procurement .
