Spring Clean Progress

Graffiti 2Sheffield Business Improvement District’s “Spring Clean” is well under way. Today marks the end of the third week of the anti-graffiti campaign and a number of successful cleaning jobs have been completed.

Sheffield BID offers a free graffiti cleaning service for levy payers across the city year-round. The “Spring Clean” is an opportunity for non-levy paying businesses to benefit from the service, too. The spring clean project is running alongside Sheffield Council’s annual city centre clean. Working with 3 Sheffield based cleaning businesses, the BID is ridding the city centre of unsightly graffiti as part of our “cleaner” initiative.

So far, the BID’s service has removed graffiti from a number of businesses across the city centre, including Debenhams, Atkinsons and Primark. Jonathan Batty from Nosh on Division Street said, “just wanted to give a big thanks for removing the graffiti on the walls at the back of Nosh.”

If your business has been affected by graffiti, please let Sheffield BID know by emailing graffiti@sheffieldbid.com.
