As a Business Improvement District, we are required by law to ballot our levy payers every five years. We successfully renewed the BID in February 2021 (92.5% in favour, 96.4% by rateable value).

Our second term runs from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2026.

Our business priorities for the next five years are:

Welcoming, clean and safe for staff, visitors and our local communities.

Enhancing the visitor experience with diverse events, festivals and culture.

Bringing in people, bringing in business. Increasing footfall, spend, dwell time and perceptions of the city.
