Cyber Crime Event
The event, held at Niagara Sports and Social in Sheffield, gives businesses in the city the opportunity to find out more about protecting themselves from cyber-crime.
Cyber-crime is a fast growing criminal activity involving computers, networks and the internet. The threat to businesses is ever increasing.
Run by the Regional Cyber Crime team, the event will give advice on cyber essentials including how to secure networks and protect businesses from cyber-attacks. The team will discuss the types of attacks that can and do happen, what this can cost a company in terms of fines and what preventative methods can be put in place.
The event will run on the 22nd March. A breakfast sandwich and refreshments will be served from 9:30am for a 10am start.
