Help Sheffield BID give Sheffield a spring clean!
On 2 March, Sheffield Business Improvement District (BID) will launch the BID Spring Clean, a six – week long campaign to tackle graffiti and mess in Sheffield city centre.
As part of the BID’s commitment to make Sheffield city centre cleaner, the campaign will focus on removing graffiti from privately owned, commercial properties at no cost to the owners or occupiers.
To help launch the campaign, we would like as many people as possible to join us in a mass clean-up of Sheffield!
On Friday 2 March, the BID team will be heading into Sheffield city centre for a day of cleaning to kick off the BID Spring Clean. Led by our Street Ranger teams, we will be tackling rubbish, dirt and grime on Sheffield’s streets, and hope to recruit as many guest rangers as we can to help.
We would love to see representatives from as many city centre businesses as possible pitching in to launch the BID Spring Clean. It is a fantastic opportunity for your business to give something back to Sheffield and help make a difference to the city’s streets. If you would like to get involved on Friday 2 March, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
During the day, the BID’s Clean Team will also be on the streets, removing graffiti for businesses which have signed up to take part in the BID Spring Clean. The Clean Team will then be working hard throughout the campaign to remove graffiti across Sheffield city centre.
Whilst the BID will continue to offer a free graffiti removal service to its levy payers throughout the year, the BID Spring Clean is an annual initiative which will actively target city centre grot spots with a purge on graffiti affecting all commercial properties in the BID area.
Landlords and tenants of private commercial properties in the city centre affected by graffiti, can add these to the BID Spring Clean schedule, free of charge, by emailing email@example.com.Share this article
