Sheffield BID confirms new Board members
On 26th October 2017 Sheffield BID held its second annual general meeting where Members were asked to elect and/or re-elect members of the BID Board.
We are now pleased to confirm that the following individuals have been appointed to serve the BID as non-executive directors until October 2019 when the Board will once again rotate.
- Professional Services: John Baddeley, Director, Wake Smith Solicitors (re-elected 2017)
- Leisure & Culture: Daniel Bates, Chief Executive, Sheffield Theatres and City of Sheffield Theatres Trust (re-elected 2017)
- Independent Business: Nick Beecroft, Director, HLM Architects
- Open Seat: Gail Gibbons, Chief Executive, Sheffield Futures
- Transport: Ben Gilligan, Director of Public Transport, South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive
- Retail: Tom Holmes, Head of Branch at John Lewis, Sheffield (re-elected 2017)
- Night-time economy: Mark Hobson, Managing Director, Corporation
- Education: Richard McGloin, Director, Sheffield Hallam University
- Office: Simon Nevill, Associate Director, Ove Arup Limited (re-elected 2017)
- Open Seat: Dr Kate Platts, Finance Director, The Sheffield College
- Retail: Amanda Phillips, Jones Lang LaSalle (The Moor Management)
- Education: Dr Sarah Want, Director of Regional Engagement and Partnerships, The University of Sheffield
- Food & Restaurant: Kane Yeardley, Managing Director, True North Brew Company
