Sheffield BID launches City Growth campaign
Sheffield Business Improvement District (BID) has teamed up with the The Star, Sheffield, to launch City Growth, a new campaign which celebrates development in the city centre, from vibrant new cafes to sleek office blocks.
Sheffield is on the up. A record number of firms are moving into the city centre creating a buzz in offices, restaurants, cafes and shops. The campaign aims to highlight these Sheffield success stories, and encourage more inward investment to the city centre.
The Star’s business editor David Walsh will be looking for stories which promote Sheffield as a city which is undergoing huge positive change. Whether that be new eateries, investment from international firms, or new office blocks which will house a new generation of workers, if a story focuses on growth in Sheffield, it will be given the City Growth stamp.
The first story in the series is on the front page of The Star today (18/6/18) and features plans for a £35m office building in Sheffield city centre – as demand from business soars. 4 St Paul’s Place is a 10-storey block between Pinstone Street and Union Street, which is hoped to help meet demand for office space in Sheffield city centre.
