Sheffield BID has announced the return of Dine Sheffield, a city-wide dining campaign designed to support hospitality businesses, drive footfall and encourage people to discover more of Sheffield city centre's thriving food and drink scene.
Running from 12 to 25 October 2026, Dine Sheffield will see more than 40 restaurants, cafés, bars and food businesses offer special menus and promotions. Inspired by New York's Restaurant Week, the initiative provides an opportunity for visitors, workers, residents and students to explore new venues while supporting local hospitality businesses.
The campaign highlights the breadth and diversity of Sheffield city centre's food and drink offer, from independent cafés and international cuisine to established restaurants, bars and hospitality brands.
Diane Jarvis, Chief Executive of Sheffield BID , said:
"Sheffield city centre has an exceptional food and drink offer, with businesses that contribute significantly to the city's economy, character and visitor experience.
"Dine Sheffield is about encouraging people to spend time in the city centre, discover new venues and support the hospitality sector. Whether it's a lunch break, an evening meal or a weekend visit, the campaign provides a great opportunity to experience the quality and diversity of Sheffield's food and drink scene."
Participating venues will offer a range of specially created promotions and dining experiences designed to attract both new and returning customers, helping businesses increase visibility and generate additional trade during the autumn period.
Dine Sheffield forms part of Sheffield BID's wider Experience Sheffield programme, which promotes the city centre as a welcoming destination to visit, work, study and spend leisure time.
Alongside events, visitor information services, BID Buddies and the Sheffield city centre website (www.sheffieldcitycentre.com), the campaign aims to encourage greater exploration of the city centre while supporting local businesses.
A full list of participating venues and offers will be available at www.dinesheffield.co.uk ahead of the campaign launch.
