Sheffield BID (Business Improvement District) is a business-led partnership, representing over 540 organisations across the city centre. Together, they invest in making the city a better place to work, visit and do business - from cleanliness and safety, to events, promotion and long-term development.
Sheffield BID is looking for new voices around the Board table – people who care about the city centre and want to play a part in where it goes next.
This isn’t about ticking boxes or filling seats. It’s about bringing together experience, perspective and good judgement to help guide how we support over 540 city centre businesses and shape the place they operate in every day.
As a Non-Executive Director, you’ll be part of the conversations that matter – from how we keep the city clean, safe and welcoming, to how we build energy, confidence and long-term ambition for Sheffield.
It’s a chance to contribute your insight, challenge constructively, and help make sure what we do really reflects what businesses need.
Whether you’re from a small independent, a major employer, hospitality, property, or the wider city economy – if you’ve got a genuine interest in Sheffield city centre and something to offer, we’d like to hear from you.
