Diane Jarvis, Chief Executive Officer:
"These latest figures show that Sheffield city centre is not only holding its ground but outperforming many of our regional peers. A return to growth in September is a clear sign of renewed consumer confidence and the strength of our local offer. While footfall remains a challenge, the rise in average spend per customer reflects the value people place on the city centre experience. We’ll continue working with partners and levy payers to build on this momentum and ensure Sheffield remains a vibrant, resilient destination for retail, hospitality and culture."
