Sheffield BID welcomes Sheffield City Council’s decision to enter detailed negotiations with the preferred bidder (Urban Splash) for the redevelopment of the former John Lewis site in Barker’s Pool.
Diane Jarvis, Head of Business Operations at Sheffield BID, said:

"Redevelopment of the site will bring new life to what is an iconic city centre building, whilst continuing the work that is resulting in a rapid transformation of Sheffield city centre.

"Development of this kind will be welcome news for businesses that already call Sheffield city centre home.
