In the Win Your Dream Christmas competition, we're asking people to tell us what makes their 'dream Christmas’ for a chance to win a £1,000 Sheffield City Centre Gift Card.
The Win Your Dream Christmas competition was launched in November with a £1,000 Sheffield City Centre Gift Card as a possible prize, which can be spent with over 85 businesses in Sheffield city centre, including shops, bars, restaurants, attractions and more.
Entries have been flying in, but there's only a short time left to get entries in for the chance to win a £1,000 Sheffield City Centre Gift Card. The competition closes on Friday 8th December 2023.
In Sheffield one entrant said, “Trimmings up, fire on, hot chocolate and cuddles with the kids whilst waiting for Santa on Christmas Eve.”
Another entry said, "Waking up to a warm house full of laughter from my babies and looking out of the window to see a sheet of white snow fill the garden. Smells of coffee and pastries for breakfast. We sit, talk, laugh and enjoy.”
The Sheffield City Centre Gift Card, part of the Town & City Gift Card concept, launched in Sheffield in November 2017 as part of efforts to encourage local shopping.
Richard Pilgrim, project manager from Sheffield BID said, "The Win Your Dream Christmas competition gives people the chance to have the Christmas of their dreams“.
"Reading through our local entries has been really heartwarming. It is clear that people want to spend time with those they love this Christmas, with enough money to fill the fridge, treat friends and family to lovely gifts, and make new memories.
"With a £1,000 Sheffield City Centre Gift Card in their pocket, the winner can enjoy the festive season in style, from a meal with friends, to choosing matching Christmas PJs to buying tasty treats for the season. The only thing we can’t promise for the big day is the snow."
